Ongoing Needs:

2. Large round baled hay (orchard grass, timothy, lespedeza) 
3. Good quality square baled hay   (orchard, lespedeza, alfalfa, clover mixes) 
4. 12% sweet horse feed (mixed at Edwards Feeds) 
5. Purina Equine Senior horse feed
6. Bottled Water
7. Fly Spray

 Gift certificates from Wilson Farmer’s Co-op, Edwards Feeds , TSC, Wal-Mart, Office Max, etc. are  welcome!
  We’re  looking for a good buy (or donation of) a used 4-wheel drive Gator or Polaris type utility vehicle.

Projects for Clubs and Civic Groups:

1. Choose from “Needs” list above to raise money for purchase and present to program.
2. Group participation to work at facility on facility maintenance projects such as painting or clean-up or working during sessions, special projects or fundraisers. 
   

Southern STARRS is an Agency of the United Way of Wilson County.  While the United Way provides some financial assistance to the program, the majority of the operating funds come from donations and fund raising programs. Individual contributions help us with costs for insurance, horse care, volunteer recruitment, utilities and equipment.  The use of the riding facility is donated by the Winfields so your contribution goes directly to help the program.
