Southern STARRS is a federally registered 501(c)3 nonprofit agency and we depend on the support of individual, foundation and corporate donors who recognize how animal assisted therapeutic activities can positively impact people's lives. STARRS is a volunteer driven agency whos co-founders have set a contribution standard by annually donating the use of their stables, horses, and time to support our program. Our board of directors, staff and volunteers are committed to our mission of enhancing the lives of special needs individuals.

Southern STARRS provides scholarships to families who qualify so that no individual with a disability will be excluded due to inability to pay. Tuition is $200 per 10-week session. If you would like to help sponsor a student's participation in our program, please donate here.
